Informations taken this Thirteenth day of
April 1773 at the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex
upon on Inquisition touching the death of Mary
Harbert
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and
County.

Joseph Lockwood< no role > one of the Watchman,(No. 9) in St.
George's Fields on his Oath Saith That on Sunday Night
last April 11th. between Seven & Eight o'Clock he saw the
Deced walking along the foot way in St. George's Fields
from the Borough towards Dept. Box, Says that She
Staggered which made Dept. think her to be in Liquor
the Deced being sensible but Breathed with great
Difficulty and said that she was a dying woman Says that seeing the Deced much out of
order he desired her to go into his Watch box which
she did, and sat there about ten Minutes, when a Hackney
Coach coming by empty from the Borough Dept. called to him
and Deced stepped into the Coach and ordered the
Coach man to drive as fast as he could into Union Street Westmr. Whe
having before told Dept. that she lodged at a [..] [..]
in Union Street , Says that the Coachman drove
nobody being in the Coach with the Deced

in Oxford Street on his Oath saith That he drove a
Hackney Coach No. 418 on Sunday last, and was returning from
the Borough over St. George's Fields with his Coach empty
about Eight o'Clock in the Evening and passing by one
of the Watch Boxes in St. Georges Fields the Watchman
called to Dept. asking him if he was hired, and on his
saying that he was not, the Deced, stepped into the Coach
and
