Burgess's Apprentice and Burden to assist her in helping the
Deceased home, Deponent called to her Sister forhera light, but
She [..] would not being one, but Deponent & the Young Men helped
the Deceased up Stairs, and than Deponent Gave the Deceased
Some Salt and Water to Cause her to Reach, but it had not the
desired effect, and then went away and left her, Deponent went
to see Deceased the next Day at 4 o'Clock in the Afternoon, &
asked her how she did, she said she was very Ill and very dry
Deponent asked her if she would have any thing to Drink
She said Yes, Deponent asked if she would have a Glass of the
Same Liquor she had the Night before, she said Yes,DeponentDeceds
went and fetched her a Glass of Liquor called High Church and
deceased Drank near a Quartern, Deced then said she was Dry
and could Drink some Cyder, Dept. went and fetched half a
Pint and Deceased Drank it, Deponent Saw Deced drink three
times out of a Bottle of Pump Water,the Deceaseds' Sister told
Deponent the Deceased had that Morning Drank two Quarts of
Small Beer and two Quarts of Water beside [..] Mint & Belm Tea

Deponent was called last Night about a quarter before Nine o'Clock
and told the Deced was Dead, she was very much surprized but
went up Stairs and found her Dead, Says on Tuesday when she
was with the Deced, she appeared sensible and the Deponent
did not think her in any danger of Death, Deponent has known
Deced two Years and says she was very subject to Liquor and
has often Seen her very much intoxicated.

Sarah Hayward< no role > Spinster who lodges at Mr. Forsythes' in
Charles Street , on her Oath says the Deced was her Sister
Says she went out about 8 o'Clock in the Evening of Monday
last, and was then in Liquor, and about Nine o'Clock the Same
Night the Deceased was brought home by Mrs. Tyley Mr. Burgess's
Apprentice & another Person, she was speechless when brought
home and so continued all Night, the next Day she was sensible
and told Deponent the Young Men at Wettenalls had given her
Gin and killed her, Deponent asked her what she had Drank
and Deceased said she had Drank several Glasses, Deponent had
Mr. Littlefen an Apothecary to see the Deceased who Ordered her
