Informations taken this Twentieth day of April 1772
at the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of Westmr . in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching the death of Arabella
Wilson
< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Elizabeth Fox< no role > Servant to Saml. Gunnell< no role > of Cambridge Street in the
Parish of St. James Westmr . Plumber on her Oath saith, That she has lived
there a Year and about Five months, That she has known the
Deced about Sixteen Years, who has lodged at Mr. Gunnell about
Nine Years, Says that she usually lay with the Deced, That on
Saturday last (April 18.) about One o'Clock the Deced who lodged on the
Second Floor, came down Stairs to Deced, saying that she was not
well and much Fatigued, with Scouring her Potlids, and desired Dept.
to fetch her some Gin, which she did and carried it up into Deced
Room, and went away leaving the Deced alone in the Room
Says that about Six o'Clock that Afternoon Dept. carried some
small Coal up Stairs for Deced, and on going into her Room she
saw the Deced Hanging by a piece of Linnen Tape which was
fixed to a Brass Hook fastened into the Wainscot, and around the
Deced's Neck, says that the Deced's feet either restd. upon or were very
near a Chair that Stood there, Say that she alarmed the People in
the House and that Mrs. Hart a Lodger out the Tape whilst
this Dept. lifted up the Deced, and that the Deced was then laid upon the
Bed, Says that she was dead but not quite Cold, and believes that the Deced
hanged herself, Says that the Deced has been at times in a very low
and Melancholy way, for sometime past.

has lodged with Dept. about nine Years. and believes that the Deced
hanged herself, Says that the Deced was formerly Disordered in her
Senses and was Confined in a Private Madhouse, Says that she has
since been better, but has at times been ever since Melancholy and low
Spirited,
