Informations taken this 25th. day of
September 1771 at the Parish of St. George Hanr.
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middx upon on Inquisition touching the death
of Francis Sadler< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty & County

William Sadler< no role > of the Neat Houses in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square Basket maker on his Oath
Saith That Francis Sadler< no role > his son on Friday last past
was at his House, That Dept,. went out that
Afternoon about four o'Clock leaving the Deced at
home, says that he returned home about six o'Clock the same evening
and was informed that the Deced was gone out
and was Missing, says that he feared that the
Deced was fallen into the Thomas and was Drowned
That he has Searched about there several times
and this day about One o'Clock found the deced in the
River near the Floodgates. says that he observed
no Marks of Violence upon the Body and believes
That the Deced Accidentally fell into the River and
was Drowned
