Informations of Witnesses taken this 15th, day
of August 1771 at the Dwelling House of Mr.
Peall the Sign of the Red Lyon in Portland Street
in the Parish of St. James in the Liberty of Westminster
Before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman St. Majestys'
Coroner for the City and Liberty of Westminster , touching
the Death of Richard Partridge< no role > then and there lying
Dead as follow, to wit

George Brougham< no role > Servant to W. Fladgate Watchmaker in Conduit Street
St. George Hanr. Square on his Oath saith that on Wednesday the 14th, day of
August Instant about Eleven o'Clock in the foreman, he observed some
Noise or breaking from the top of Lady Felstone's House in Clifford Street
which occasioned him to look up, and he saw a Man which is the Deced
falling down from the said House and a quantity of Bricks and wood falling
with him on the Flag stones near the Steps of the next Door the Decedandfell on the
left side of his face, and Deponent immediately saw another Man fall and stick on
the Rails of Lady Folkstone's House, Deponent says the Deced when he
went to him quite Dead, but the Man that was on the Rails was
alive and is since carried to the Hospital at Hyde Park Corner
