Verdict of the Jury.

That John Rogers< no role > Labourer on Tuesday the 6th. day of
Ausgust Instant being walking on a Board placed aslant
from a Sea Fold to a New Building for a Work House in Castle
Street in the Parish of St. Martin in the fields in the Liberty
of Westmr , and being much intoxicated with Liquor it so
happened that the said John Rogers< no role > accidentally casually and
by Misfortune file from the said Board on the Top of the said
Building to the ground by means whereof he the said John Rogers< no role >
received a Violent and Mortal Bruise and Concussion on his
Head and dislocated his Collar Bone of which he then and
there Died. Witness for self and rest of the Jurors this
8th. day of August 1771
