Middlesex }to wit.

An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster
in the County of Middlesex , the Fifteenth day of May in the Eleventh Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain,
France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > , Gentleman,
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of
Mark Aldersey< no role > then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of Gideon
Dare

and Edward Nelson< no role > Good and Lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
Chosen, when, being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Mark Aldersey came to
his Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Mark Aldersey not being of
sound Mind Memory and Unerstanding but lunatick and distracted,
on the Tenth day of May in the Year aforesaid at the Parish and in the
Liberty and County aforesaid a great Quantity of Sublimate being a
deadly Poison, into a certain Quantity of hot Water, did then and there put
and mix, and the said Sublimate so put and mixt as aforesaid, he the said
Mark Aldersey not being of sound mind Memory and Understanding but
lunatick and distracted as aforesaid, did then and there take drink and
swallow down, by Means whereof he the said Mark Aldersey becme then and
there sick and distempered in his Body, and of the Poison aforesaid, and of
the Sickness and Distemper thereby occasioned, from the said Tenth day of
May in the Year aforesaid until the said fifteenth day of the Same month
at the Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid did languish and
languishing did live on which said Fifteenth day of May in the Year aforesaid
at the Parish an in the Liberty and County aforesaid, he the said Mark
Aldersey of the Poison aforesaid, and of the Sickness and Distemper occasioned
thereby, did die. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say
that the said Mark Aldersey, not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding
but lunatick and distracted, in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, did Poison
and kill himself. In Witness where of as Well the said Coroner as the said
Gidcon Dare< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the
rest of his Fellows, in their Presence have to this Inquisition set their Hands
and Seals the Day Year and Place first above written
