An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at Tothill Fields Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret in the City of Westmr.
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Second day of April in the Tenth Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain,
France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > , Gentleman,
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of
Mary Perry< no role > This name instance is in set 3644479. a Prisoner then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of George Allen< no role > ,
John Hales< no role > , Robert Hawkins< no role > , George Tarrance< no role > , William Pitt< no role > , George Tullock< no role >
John Martin< no role > , Thomas White< no role > , John Lane< no role > , Richard Saunders< no role > , John Snook< no role > ,
George Whitrow< no role > and William Ketley< no role > good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Mary Perry< no role > This name instance is in set 3644479. came to
her-Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said Mary Perry< no role > This name instance is in set 3644479. being a Prisoner
in Tothill Fields Bridewell aforesaid in the Parish and in the City
Liberty and County aforesaid, on the Thirty first day of March in
the Year aforesaid, at Tothill Fields Bridewell , departed this Life
by the Visitation of God in a natural way, to wit, of a Fever,
and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner as the said George Allen< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors
on the behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence,
have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals, the Day Year and
Place first abovewritten
