at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex
upon an Inquisition touching the
Death of a Man unknown lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

Square
on his Oath saith that he was ordered by the
Governor of the workhouse Yesterday afternoon to fetch a Man that lay
deadupon Milk Bank, Says that he went there and
was informed by Mrs. Bear who lives near the Turpentine
House an Mill Bank
that a Man was left by the Tide
by the side of the River Thames
, says that he found the
Body of the Deced near the Thames side between the
Turpentine House and Mr. Bear the Gardinger's House
with a piece of an old Mat thrown over him, Says
that the Man was dressed in an old Red Coat, and
had but one shoe on, Says that he acquainted the
Corner there with and returned to the watchhouse to
send the Parish Bearers to fetch the Body to the Bonehouse
which they did last Night about Eleven o'Clock

his Oath saith, That on Thursday last about a Quarter
before two o'clock in the Afternoon as he went from Dier [..]
he saw the Body of a Man Lye with his fare down wards in
the Mud on the lower side of a Causeway before Mr. Bear's
House by the side of the River Thames
and within about
a Foot of the water, the Tide being running down, Says
that the Man had some old Red Cloaths on which were wat
and Deced appeared to Dept. to have been dreemed, Says
that he acquainted Mr. Bears's Apprentice there with, and
that he did not see the Deced afterwards
