Informations of Witnesses taken this
3d. day of August 1769 , in the Parish of St.
George Hanover Square at the dwelling House
of Mr. John Skeat< no role > the Sign of the Margins of
Granby as Ebery Farm Before Thos, Prickard< no role >
Gentleman his Majesty's Coroner for the said
Liberty touching the Death of Dennis Ould< no role >
then and there lying Dead as follow

John Sullivan< no role > of St. Martins Lane Journeyman Taylor on by
Oath says that on Tuesday last about 5 o'Clock in the After
he heared a try of a Persons being drowned near the Flood Sates
Chelsea Water Works and that he immediately went and with
two other Persons who assisted they got the deced out of the
water, that he was the dead, this Deponent did not see
him go into the Waker, says he heard a gentleman who
was then Letting on the Bank side Angling say that
deced had ask'd him what Depth the Water was which
he told him he believed was above his Length that the
deced then went about 20 Yards from where the Gentleman
