Informations taken this 26th. day of June 1769 at the
Parish of St Margaret within the City & Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the Death of Caesar Latham< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
City Liberty and County.

James Meredith Parrat< no role > Apothecary to the Westmr. Hospital
in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . on his Oath saith
that Casar Latham same to said Hospital as an
Accident on the 29. day of May last at the Morning having a Wound
in his Forehead in inclining to the Right side of his Head
and the Skull Care, Says that the Deced told Dept that
he was carrying a head that Morning and fell down into a
Collar belonging to a House in Buckingham Court in the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields and thereby reced the wound on his Forehead,
Says that proper care was taken of Deced in Said Hospital and
that there was reason to expect that he might reaser Says
that afterwards dangerous Symptons appeared and Deced died in
said Hospital on Saturday last (June 24) in the Morning, Says that
the Head of the Deced was this day Opened in said Hospital that
a large Collection of Motter was found between the Skull and the
Brain and on part of the Brain, under that part where the
wound was reced, which this Dept believes occasioned the
Deced's death
