Informations of Witnesses taken this 11th. day of
August 1768 in the Parish of St. Margaret in the City of
Westminster at the Dwelling House of Mr. Thomas Okell< no role >
the Sign of the Castle in Chapel Street . Before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > Gentleman His Majesty's Coroner for the City and
Liberty of Westminster , touching the Death of Johns Taylor< no role >
in the said Parish then and there lying Dead as fellow

Cacilia Hollier< no role > Servant to Mrs. Payme of St. Stephen's Court
in the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster on her Oath Says
that the Deced was Yesterday brought into her Mistress's
House about 6 in the Evening, being taken out of the
River Thomas the back of the sd. House, that Mr. Hemphreys
a Surgeon and Mr. Hawkins an Apothecary were last for
who came and attempted to Bleed him but he did not
Bleed, and they declared that he was really Dead, Says
her Mistress Ordered him to be Rubbed with Sall which
was done but all proved ineffectual
