William Norton< no role > of the Strand Surgeon on his
Oath Saith, That he this day Examined a new born Male
Child lying dead in the Bonehouse belonging to the
Parish of St. Martin in the Fields and found no
Marks of violence upon him, Says that the Child
appeared to be come to Maturity, and to be born
alive, Says that he believes that the Mother of
said Child had not proper Assistance to be delivered
the Navel String of said Child not being tied, but
torn.
