put into the Hole in the Watchhouse, Says that he
was kept there all Night with another Man, and
talked the greatist part of the Night to this Dept. and
other People in the Watchhouse, Says that he went
out of the Watch house about a Quarter after Six
o'Clock, the next Morning leaving the Deced in the H [..] and then asked the Deced
how he was, who answered that he was indifferent,
Says that about half an hour after Eight o'Clock
this Dept. came to the watch house again and on asking
the other Man in the Hole how the Deced was he Answer
that he believed he was either assleep or Dead, that
he had notspoke for half an hour, Says that on opening
the Door he found the Deced Dead, but observed no
Marks of violence upon him, and believes that the
Deced died a natural Death.

Patrick Kendall< no role > one of the Watch [..] of St. James's
Parish on his Oath saith, That as he was crying
the hour of Ten on Sunday Night last he saw John
Gillett
< no role > the Deced standing against the Iron Rails of
the Ball Room in [..] Street in the said Parish in [..]
Says that he laid the Deced down by the Ball room
door, and about Eleven o'Clock finding the Deced worse
he carried him with the Assistance of two othe
Watchmen to the Watch house, and by the order of
Mr. Hinton the Beadle , the Deced was put into the
Hole in the Watch house, where this Dept. left him
