In Inquisition indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the KING at the Parish of St. James within the Liberty of the Dean
and Chapter of Westminster in the County of Middlesex the Twenthfifth Day of March in the Seventh Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, KING, Defender of the
Faith, Etc. before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of Our said Lord the
KING, for the said City & liberty on View of the Body of John Gillett< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of William Nelson< no role > , Samuel
Lawrence
< no role > , Joseph Robinson< no role > , David Richie< no role > , Richard Birmingham< no role > , James Coden< no role >
Christopher Smith< no role > , William Franklin< no role > , Thomas Knight< no role > , William Read< no role > , James
Campbell

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty duly chosen as by law is required, and who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire
for Our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what Means the said John Gillett< no role >
came to h is Death, do upon their Oath say, That the said John Gillett< no role > died suddenly in a certain Hole or Place
of Confinement, within the Watchhouse, in the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty and
County aforesaid, on the Twenty third day of March in the year aforesaid; That no
Marks of Violence appeared on the Body of the said John Gillett< no role > ; and that the said John
Gillett
< no role > deported this Life by the Nisitation of God, in a natural Way, and not by any
Hurt or Injury received from any Person or Persons whatsoever, to the Knowledge
of the said Jurors. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said
William Nelson< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest
of his said Fellows, in their presence have to this Inquisition set their Hands
and Seal the Day year and Place first above written
