Informations taken this Fifth day of July
1766 at the Parish of St. Clement Danes within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex
on an Inquisition touching the Death of Elizabeth
Hayward

and County

William Hayward< no role > a Lodger at Mr. David Taylor< no role >
a Baker in Clare Street in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
Currier , on the Second Floor, on his Oath saith, that
he was in his own Room with Elizabeth Hayward< no role >
the Deced (who was his Daughter) about fifteen
months old) last Night about nine o'Clock, Says that
the Deced was Standing in the Window Seat, and looking
out of the Window, the lower Sash being up, Says that
he this Dept. had hold, as he thought of the Shirt of a
Bedgown which Deced had on, but the Deced fell
out of and thro' the Window in to the Street, upon
which Dept. run down Stairs and found that his
wife had taken up the Deced, who was Spechless
Says that a Surgeon was fetched who attempted
to bled the Deced, but Deced did not bleed and Say
that the Deced died about one o'Clock this Morning
and that the Surgeon declared that she had
reced a Concussion of the Brian and that she can
not live, and this Dept. says that there was no
person in the Room with Dept. and the Deced,
when she fell and of the Window
