on the Second Floor, on her Oath saith,
that being in her own Room yesterday Morning between
Nine and ten o'Clock (as Dept. thinks) She heard Mr. Smith
Husband to the Deced, call out, desiring the Deced to
come down Says that the went down immediately and in
the Shop saw the Deced on a Chair, Says that She felt
the Deceds hand and found it quite Cold, and Dead,
and believes that she was hanged from the Appearance
of her Neck, and seeing a small Cord in the Room, Says
that a Gentleman
was fetched to bleed the Deced was said that it was too
late for that she was Dead, Says that the Deced and
her Husband lived very happy together, and that Mr.
Smith was very f [..] d of the Deced, Says that the Deced
has been very low Spirited and Melancholy ever since
Christmas, and that the Deced was very uneasy and
sometimes incapable of doing her Business. And this Dept.
says that when she went into the Shop she saw the Key of the
Shop lye upon the Counter.
