that some of the Soldiers informed Dept. there the Deced
was in Long ditch under a Gateway, with his Throat
cut, upon which Dept. went there and found Dead
in a Hole in a Stable Yard behind Houses in Great
George Street , Westmr. says that the Deced was Dead
as Dept. believes, & that he saw much Blood upon Deceds
Cloaths but Dept. did not see any wound upon Deced,
Says that he observedsawno Marks of insanity in the Deced
but that he has been informed by different people that
the Deced was at times disordered in his Senses
And this Dept. further Saith that he called at Deced's
Lodging this afternoon when Mrs. Grimsley who keeps the House produced
a Clasp Knife bloody, which she informed Dept. she had
found last Night in the Pouch which Deced had about
him, when he was found in the Stable Yard with his
Throat cut.

David Allen< no role > of Holborn Currier , on his Oath Saith That
the Deced used to work with him at his Business at
times for about two years last past,andSays that from
the Deced's behaviour he verily believes that the Deced
was disordered in his Senses. and says that the
Deced frequently told this Dept. that he (the Deced)
was notquieteasy in his Mind.
