on an Inquisition taken on View
of the Body of

lying Dead in the
said Parish City Liberty and County.

Surgeon
on his Oath saith, that he is one of the Surgeons belonging
to the Westmr. Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret, and that

the Deced
was brought to said Hospital the
Twenty second day of January last Says that he Examined the Deft.
on the Twenty Third and found no external Marks of Violence
on the deced, but the Deced complained of very great pain
in the Per [..] and a Suppression of Urine, Says that
proper care was taken of the Deced, but [..] he continued to
grow worse to the time of his Death, which happened
last Night about ten o'Clock. And this Dept. says that
the Deced informed him that he had reced a Kick from
an Irish Chairman near his Testicles which this
Dept. believes to be the Cause of Death.

Mr. Wheelers a Baker in the Strand
on her Oath saith, that
on the Seventh day of January last, the Deced went from
his Lodgings about Seven o'Clock, to spend the Evening with
some Friends at the Crown and Anchor
Tavern in the Strand
Says that the Deced did not return hence to Dept. until about
Nine o'Clock in the Evening of the Eighth day of January
when he informed Deponent, "That he stand with his
"Friends at the Crown and Anchor
Tavern until five o'Clock
"that Morning, that he then went up Bridges Street
in the
"Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden
and that four Ir [..] Chairman
"whose names he knew not that were standing there, said to Deced, My Noble Singing Master
"Howard, will you treat us with a Pot of Purl, to which he
"answered that had no halfpence, upon which the Chairman
