to Wit

An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the
King at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter
of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the
Thirty first day of Julyin the Fifth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the
Faith and so Forth before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King
for the said City and Liberty, on View of the Body of Robert Mills< no role > then and there lying Dead upon
the Oath of Christopher Gundry< no role > James Frith< no role > , William Miles< no role > , Nathaniel Jackson< no role > , William Standburk< no role > , Nicolas Welch< no role >
John Stonhouse< no role > Peter Taylor< no role > , Bryan Conner< no role > , John Lynn< no role > , Edward Lanbridge< no role > , Thomas Lang< no role > , James Start< no role > , Thomas Hennedy< no role >
John Roome< no role > , Robert Short< no role > , and Robert Corbett< no role > , good and lawfull Men of the said Liberty duly
Chosen, who being then and there duly Sworn and Charged to inquire for our said Lord the King
when, how, and by what Means the said Robert Mills< no role > came to his Death, do upon their
Oathsay, that the said Robert Mills< no role > on the Twenty ninth day of July in the Year aforesaid,
going into the River at a certain place called Abery Farm, near into Chelsea Bridge, in the
Parish aforesaid with in the Liberty and County aforesaid, there to bath himself, It so
happened that Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune he the said Robert Mills< no role > slipped
into a deep Hole in the said River, and in the Waters thereof was then and there suffocated
and drowned of which said Suffocation and Drowning he the said Robert Mills< no role > the
and there instantly died. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid
do say, that the said Robert Mills< no role > in Manner and by the means aforesaid, Accidentally
Casually and by Misfortune, came to his Death, and not otherwise. In Witness
whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said Christopher Gundry< no role > Foreman of the
said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of his said Fellows, in their presence,
have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals, the Day year and Place first
above written
