the Deced lodged with Dept. in<lb></lb>
a Room on the Second Floor near half a Year last past, Says<lb></lb>
that about twelve o Clock on Saturday Night Dept. was alarmed<lb></lb>
with a Noise in his House upon the Stairs, when Deced's Wife<lb></lb>
cryed out that she should be Murdered by the Deced and desired<lb></lb>
Deponent to call in the Watch, Dept. says that he saw the Deced<lb></lb>
standing at the top of the Stairs at that time with a Knife<lb></lb>
in his hand, Says that he this Dept. and Mr. Singler a<lb></lb>
Neighbour and Mr. Paterson went up into Deced's Room<lb></lb>
and found him in the Bed, Says that he left Deced and his<lb></lb>
Wife in the Room together and Dept. and the other Gentlemen<lb></lb>
come down Stairs, Says that the Deced's Wife went from<lb></lb>
the Dept. House last Sunday and got another Lodging leaving<lb></lb>
the Deced there, Deponent says that on Wednesday Night<lb></lb>
last Deced came to his House about twelve o'Clock, asked for<lb></lb>
a Candle and went up Stairs into his own Room, as Dept. was<lb></lb>
informed by his Maid Servant, and Dept. heard him go up<lb></lb>
Stairs, Says that yesterday about Eleven o'Clock in the Forenoon<lb></lb>
Deced's Wife came to Depts. House and inquired if Deced was<lb></lb>
there, and being Answered that Deced had not been seen that<lb></lb>
Day, the Desired Dept. to go up Stairs to see if Deced was<lb></lb>
in his Room, which Dept. accordingly did, Says that he<lb></lb>
found the Door single locked (being a Spring Lock,) and the<lb></lb>
Key on the outside of the Door in the Lock, Says that on<lb></lb>
opening the Door Dept. went into the Room and saw Deced<lb></lb>
hanging by a small Cord around the Deced's Neck, and<lb></lb>
fastened to a Nail in the Wainscot, says that one of the<lb></lb>
Deced's feet was upon the cross rail of a Chair and the toes<lb></lb>
of the other feet upon the Chair to the left of Depts recollection Says that the Deced was</p>
