Informations taken this Seventeenth
day of January 1765 at the Parish of St.
Mary le Strand within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Middlesex on an Inquisition
taken on View of the Body of John Huddlestone< no role >
lying Dead in the said Parish Liberty and
County.

Ann Farlow< no role > the Wife of Richard Farlow< no role > of Swan yard.
in the Parish of St. Mary le Strand Waterman on her
Oath saith, That She was yesterday about eleven o'Clock
in Mr. Ann Carrison's Room one pair of Stairs in
Deponent's House, and heard the voice of a Child crying
out open the Door my Daddy's Brains are dashed out
Says that some time after upon hearing the cry and
knowing the voice Deponent and Mrs. Carison went
to the Door of the Room two pair of Stairs and asked
the Child, John Huddlestone< no role > who was in the Room, and is the Son of
the Deced,whatwhat was the Matter, to which he
answered that his Daddy's Brains were dashed out, Says
that the Door was locked and the Key in the clock on the inside of
the Door, and Dept. desired the Child to put the Key under
the Door that Dept. might unlock it, which he did Says that Mrs. Carison
unlocked the Door with the Key, and that Mary Hudderstone< no role > Deced Wife
at that time came up Stairs, she having been out
Says that Mrs. Hudderstone first entered the Room and
that Mrs. Carison & Dept. followed, Says that she saw Deced
lying on the Bed upon her Back in the Room with
much Blood about his Neck and Head and Dept. thought
that he was Dead Says that Mrs. Huddlestone the Wife went
to Deced kissed him and cryednotwhat a distrissed widow angr
this Day, my Husband is Dead at last, Hard fate and
misfortunes drove him into dispair, Says that she went
to fetch Mr. Hill Brother to Mrs. Huddlestone, in [..] Court
says that she returned in about ten Minutes and found
Mr. Carison at the Room Doorwith Deced,says that she was
then informed by Mrs. Mansfeild another Lodger in said
House that Deced's Throat wasDecedCut, but Deponent
ded
