Informations taken this Seventh day of
January 1765 at the Goal or Prison of Bridewell
in the Parish of St. Margaret within the City &
Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middlesex
on an Inquisition taken in the View of the Body
of Isabella Smith< no role > a Prisoner lying Dead in
the said Parish City Liberty and County.

Elizabeth Taylor< no role > Widow on her Oath saith, That she has
been a Prisoner at Bridewell about two and twenty weeks
That the Deced has likewise been a Prisoner there about
three weeks last past, Says that Deced was in good Heath as
Dept. believes when she was brought to said Prison and that
she continued to until Thursday last, when she
complained of her Head and Stomach, and was very
ill, Says that Deced grew worse and died about four
o Clock yesterday Morning, Says that Deced had her
allowance from the Governor of the Prison of a
pennyworth of Bread and two pence in Money every day until
the time of her Death, and that Deced Eat her Bread
and laid out her Money for Other Necessaries.
Says that she has heard of no ill treatment reced
by the Deced from the Keeper of the Prison or his Servant
nor of any Quarrel between the Deced and any of
her Fellow Prisoners, and Deponent believes that
Deced died a natural Death
