Informations taken this Twenty fourth
day of Decr. 1764 at Bridewell in the Parish
of St. Margaret within the City & Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Middlesex on an Inquisition
taken on View of the Several Bodies of Ann
Linwood
< no role > and Thomas Guy< no role > lying Dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County

John Stephens< no role > Keeper of Bridewell on his
Oath saith that on the twelfth day of November last Ann
Linwood
< no role > was brought a Prisoner to Bridewell committed
there by Peter Lewis Perrin< no role > Esqr. the said Ann Linwood
being then in good Health, says that she continued so until
within four or five days last past, when Mrs. Wilson [..]
another Prisoner there came and acquainted Dept. that
Deced was Dead , but Dept. was afterwards told that the Deced
had been in a fit and was got better, Says that on
Friday last Dept. wrote [..] Note which was carried by
a Woman to Mr. Ideson Vestry Clerk of the Parish of St. James
from whence she was Committed for begging in that parish
says that a Harknes Coack [..] was frought to the Prison on friday night
in order to carry the Deced away into St [..] Mary le bone parish
the Deced being then ill and not fit to be removed, Says
that she continued very ill and died on Saturday Night
Dept. also says that on the first of Novr. Last Thomas Guy< no role >
was brought to the said Prison as Vagrant, says that
said Thomas guy< no role > was then well as Dept. believes, and
that he continued so, during the time he was there Dept.
having heard nothing to the contrary, says that on Saturday
last in the Evening Dept. was informed that the Deced, Thomas was
Dead, Says that he has heard of no Difference between
the said Ann Linwood, or between he said Thomas Guy< no role >
and any officer fellow prisoners. and Dept. believes that
the said Ann Linwood< no role > and Thomas Guy< no role > died a Natural
Death
