in the County of Middlesex

to Wit.

An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord
the King at the Parish of Saint Jameswithin the Liberty of the Dean and Chaple
of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty
seventh day of November in the FifthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King. Defender of the
Faith and so forth before Thomas Prichard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of Our said Lord the
King for the said City and Liberty on View of the Body of Ann Osborn< no role > Widow then and
there lying Dead, upon the Oath of Samuel Crowther< no role > , Edward Winwood< no role > , John Philips< no role > , Andrew

Chosen who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord in
King, when how, and by what Means the said, Ann Osborn< no role > came to her Death do
upon their Oath say, that the said Ann Osborn< no role > , not being of sound Mind, Memory and Understanding
but lunatic and distracted, on the Twenty seventh day of November in the year aforesaid, at the Parish
aforesaid within the Liberty and County aforesaid,one End of a Certain piece of Small Cord unto the
Wooden Curtain Rail of the Bed of the said Ann Osborn< no role > in her Lodging Room or Apartment in the
dwelling House of William Fickner< no role > Linnen Draper, situate and being [..] in the said
Parish Liberty and County, and the other End thereof about her own Tick, did fix, tye,and fasten,and
therewith did then and there hang, suffocate and Strangle herself, of which said Hanging,
Suffocation, and Strangling, she the said Ann Osborn< no role > then and there died. And so the Juror
aforesaid, upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the said Ann Osborn< no role > not being of sound
Mind, Memory and Understanding, but lunatic and distracted, in Manner and by the
Means aforesaid, did hill herself. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner
as the said Samuel Crowther< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the Behalf of himself
and the rest of his said Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals the Day year and Place first abovewritten
