Informations of Witnesses taken this
Seventh day of November 1763 at the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square on an Inquisition
taken on View of the Body of Thomas Jones< no role >
lying Dead within the said Parish Liberty
and County

Samuel Fluck< no role > of Swallow Street in the Parish of St. James
Carpenter on his Oath saith, That on Saturday Night about
twelve o' Clock, Deponent and several of his Fellow Workmen
were going home from the Pay table, and in their way found the
Deced lying on his face on the outside of the Posts in Glass
House Street, and that a Man who said he lived Fellow
Servant with Deced at the Earl of Baths, and another
Person were with Deced when Deponent first discovered
him both very much in Liquor, says that said Fellows Servant
desired Deponent and his Fellow Workmen to assist in
lifting up the Deced, and to get him home, says that
he and one Robert Carpenter< no role > did lift up Deced, and
each of them having hold of one of Deced's Arms, brought
Deced [..] on her legs into Piccadilly , so far as the Earl of Holland's House,
says that Deced then dropped down, and that they were not
longer able to support him upon his feet, Deponent says
that he and other Persons then carried Deced to Mr. Sinclair
the two Blue Posts the Corner of Charges Street in Piccadilly
and on laying him down there, discovered that the Deced
was Dead, Deponent says that a Person was sent for
to Bleed Deced, who came and endeavoured to Bleed him
but the Deced bled very little. Says that Deced was
very much in Liquor when Deponent found him, and
that Deponent is of Opinion that the Deced was Suffocated with the Liquor which he had
DrankSays that the Deceds Fellow Servant, and the other
Person that were with Deced when Deponent found him
were likewise very much in Liquor
