in the County of Middlesex .}
to Wit.

An Inquisition indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the King
at the Parish of Saint Margaretin the City of Westminster within the Liberty of the
Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex
the Eighth day of September in the Third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith
and so forth, before Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said
City and Liberty, on View of the Body of Sarah Deacon< no role > then and there lying Dead
upon the Oath of Richard Sayes< no role > , Robert Barber< no role > Henry Friday< no role > Francis Williams< no role > , Edward Norman< no role > , Thomas Watkins< no role >
James Gardner< no role > , Henry Wilson< no role > , Robert Chesholm< no role > , March Taylor< no role > , James Davis< no role > , Robert Blackmore< no role > , John Palmer< no role > Thomas

< no role > , John Kyte< no role > , Avery Vokins< no role > and Samuel Tyler< no role > , good and lawfull Men of the said Liberty duly
chosen, who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King
when how and by what means the said Sarah Deacon< no role > came to her Death, do upon
their Oath say, That the said Sarah Deacon< no role > not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding
but lunatic and distracted, on the second day of September in the Year aforesaid at the Parish
aforesaid within the City and Liberty aforesaid in the County aforesaid, into a certain Pond
of Water in Kensington Gardens situate within the said Parish Liberty and County, did cast
and throw herself, by Means of which said casting and throwing, she the said Sarah
Deacon
< no role > in the Waters of the said Pond, was then and there Suffocated and Drowned
of which said Suffocation and Drowning, she the said Sarah Deacon< no role > then and there
instantly Died, And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the said
Sarah Deacon< no role > , not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding, but lunatic and distracted
in Manner and by the Means aforesaid did Drown and Kill himself. In Witness whereof
as well the said Coroner, as the said Richard Sayes< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on behalf of
himself and therest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place first above written
