saith, that Yesterday Afternoon about Six o' Clock Deponent<lb></lb>
being in said Rowse's House, and going up Stairs into the fore Garr<obscured></obscured>

(where deced, who was a<obscured></obscured>
and Quarter'd at said House<lb></lb>
lodged) to see for a Kite which belonged to said Rowse's Son,<lb></lb>
and not finding the Kite, he went in to the back Garret<lb></lb>
and there discovered the Deced having by a Handkerchief<lb></lb>
fastened to an Iron Cook which was in a fire of Timber on the<lb></lb>
back part of the Room upon which Deponent called out to<lb></lb>
Mr. Rowse, and immediately after game Down stairs, and<lb></lb>
then returned with a Person (whose name he knows not) whom he found on the Ground<lb></lb>
Floor to the Deced, says the Person unknown took deced by<lb></lb>
the Hand and said he was Dead, Deponent says that he likewise took<lb></lb>
hold of Deceds hand found it cold, and verily believes that he had<lb></lb>
been some time Dead, but they did not cut him Down<lb></lb>
Deponent says that he frequently said Deced and never<lb></lb>
observed any uneasiness in him until yesterday about<lb></lb>
four o Clock, when the deced informed him that he had<lb></lb>
misbehaved to his Serjeant for which he was to be sent<lb></lb>
to Prison in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65203_geo579">the savoy</rs>

<interp inst="WACWIC65203_geo579" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
or to ask the Serjeants Pardon at the<lb></lb>
head of the Rigment says that Deced was much concerned<lb></lb>
there at, and said he wod. the latter to avoid Imprisonment<lb></lb>
says that the Deced had been drinking and that he was<lb></lb>
then<obscured></obscured>
