Inforamtions taken this ninth
Day of April 1763 on an Inquisition
at the Parish of St. Martin in the
Fields in the said Liberty on View
of the Body of Michael Lyon< no role >
there lying Dead.

Isaac Parry< no role > of Villien Street York Buildings
Bricklayer on his Oath saith that Yesterday
about noon Dept. with divers of his Workmen
were pulling down an old House in Durham
Yard , says he heard the Fall of some part of the
Building, and one of the Workmen cryed out
upon which Dept. went to assist and the rest of
his Workmen, and found first one Sullivant
up to the wast in Rubbish says they took him
out, and on hearing another man cry out in the
Rubbish, they dug in the Rubbish for him
and in about half an Come time [..] got him out,
says that on missing Michael Lyon< no role > one of his
Labourers, says they went again to work in
clearing the rubbish, and ofter about an hours
Work the deced was found in the Rubbish but
he was then dead says as the deced was found on
his Face, dept. believes he was Smothered, rather
than crushed by the Materials of the Building
thew being but trifling Bruises about him.

William Farrell< no role > of the Parish of St. Giles in
the Fields Bricklayer's Laborer or his Oath Saith
that Yesterday he was at Work in pulling down
an Old House in a place as Dept. is informed called
Durham Yard , says that the deced was knocking
down the Partition adjoining to the Stair Case
and desired Dept. to bear agt . the Partition to prevent
it falling upon them. says that the Partition fell
and immediately after the Flooring, says that dept. was
covered will part of the Rubbish & the deced in making
towards the Chimney was buried in the Ruins. says
