said Parish came there, says that four Persons
afterwards got the Deced out of the Rack with same
Difficulty in the presence of said Beadle and Deponent,
and that no Marks of Violence then appeared on the Body
further says that the Deced had layn about a Year last
past in the Hay loft in said Stable which belonged to Mr
John Locke< no role > of St. James's Market .

William Robert Gardner< no role > lodging at the Black Bear in
Brewer Street Watchman on his Oath Saith, that in
going his Walks at there o'Clock yesterday Morning, and
passing thro Bridle Lane by A Stable in which the Deced
nead to her he heard the Voice of same Person there but
he could not then Understand what was said says that in
passing that way again at four o Clock Somebody in
said Stable called to Deponent, and desired Deponent
to break open the Door for that he was a Prisoner, says
he called out Wilmot (the name of a Person that used
to lye there) and twice asked Who made him Prisoner
but had no Answer either from him or Wilmot, Says
that he acquainted a Cobler in Brewer Street there with
immediately, says that about a Quarter before five
he came that way again and verily believes he heard
some Person's Voice in said Stable at that time but he
could not tell what was said nor could he see any Body
