Arthur Dillon< no role > of Broad Court Long Acre
Peruke Maker on his Oath saith that the
deced lodged at Deponents House above four
Months says that within a fortnight last past
the deced accustomed himself to set up very
late and sometimes would lye in bed for two.
a three Days running, and behaved in such a Manner
as to induce Dept. to believe he was out of his
Mind, which opinion Dept. told several of his
Acquaintance, and the deced lately appeared to
be of a Melancholy Disposition says that Yesterday
Morning on hearing a Report like that of a Gun
or Pistol Deponent together with his Servant
Lawrence Flood< no role > and Depts Wife went up Stairs
to deceds Apartment and found the Room of on
a Smother and the Window Shutters shut says
he opened one Window Shutter and then discover'd
the deced laying in hs Bed the left side of his
Head being Hoody says he directed his Wife and
Servant to go down Stairs says he then went
to Justice Welsh and acquainted him of the
affair says that upon being acquainted that the
deced had Life in him,saysbe went house with
Mr. Welsh to deced Apartment and was then
directed by Mr. Welsh to fetch Mr. Hands a
Surgeon says Mr Hands came with Dept. to
deceds Apartment and Dept. presently afterwards
quitted the Room.
