to Wit.

An Inquisition Indented, taken for Our Sovereign Lord the King
at the Parish of Saint Margaretin the City of Westminster within the Liberty of the Dean and
Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the Third Day of
January in the ThirdYear of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the grace of
God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth, before Thomas
Prickard

of a Man Unknownthen and there lying Dead, upon the Oath of Nathaniel Trenery< no role > , John Saxy< no role > ,

chosen, and who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to inquire for Our said Lord the King
when, how, and by what means the said Man Unknowncame to his Death, do upon their
Oath say, That on the Twenty eighth day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and Sixty two, the said Man unknown being on foot and Walking in a certain Street
called Bridge Street in the Parish aforesaid within the City Liberty and County aforesaid, If so
happened that the said Man Unknown then and there accidentally Casually and by Misfortune
fell down unto and against th [..] and, and by the force and [..] of [..]
and there received one Mortal [..] se on the left side of the Head of him the said Man Unknown,
of which said Mortal Bruise the said Man Unknown from the said Twenty eighth day of December in the
Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Sixty two, until the second day of January in the Year
first abovementioned, at a certain Hospital or Infirmary situate in the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty
and County aforesaid, called the Westminster Hospital , did languish and languishing did live, On which
said second day of January in the Year aforesaid, the said Man Unknown at the said Hospital of the
Mortal Bruise aforesaid did Dye. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the
said Man Unknown, in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune
came to his Death, and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner, as the said
Nathaniel Trenery< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of his said Fellows, in
their presence, have to this Inquisition set their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place first above mentioned.
