Information [..] Witnesses taken this 2d. day of
October 1762 in Parish of St. Margaret
at the Dwelling House of George Allen< no role > the sign of
the halfmoon and Twenth Horn before me Thomas Prickard< no role > his
Majesty's Coroner for the said City and Liberty.
touching the Death of Elizabeth Arnold< no role > then and there
lying Dead, as follow

Thomas Wilkinson< no role > of Abingdon Street in the Parish of St.MargaretJohn
Esqr . on her Oath saith that Yesterday Afternoon about four o'Clock
(being acquainted by Mr. Wilkinson her wife that the deced was in
a low depending way) he came to see the deced and found her
asleep, says he did not wake her but went away, and
returned there about six o'Clock and was them told by Mrs. Jubb
who keeps the House wherein deced lodged, that the Room wherein deced
had Lacked herlodged was Locked, whereupon Deponent went
up Stairs and after calling at the Chamber Door and nobody
Answering, he forced the Door Open with his Knee, and on
going into the Room discovered the Deced lying upon the Floor
very Bloody, Another person being then with him, Deponent
says he observed a Stab in the Throat of the deced, from
whence the Blood issued, says he immediately sent for an
Apothecary , who upon seeing Deced, declared that she was
Dead, Says that the Room Door was Locked when he came
up Stairs, and that the Key was on the inside of the Door.
says that for a week last last deced seemed to be Melancholy
and he verily believes that she was not of sound Mind, she
having of late frequently talked like a Disordered person, says that
when he came into the Room, he found a Clasp Knife upon a
BoatBox near the Deced, very Bloody

Thomas Littlefear< no role > of Parliament Street Apothecary on
his Oath saith that being yesterday about upon sent for to deced, upon
his loming there he met Mr. Wilkinson who told him that
