in the Presence of Dept. and saidBastonSaville, says
he never moved or cryed, but was dead; and Dept.
believes he was dead some time before his Birth. says
that upon Mrs. Saville's Alarm two Women came up
Stairs to Deponts Apartment, and one of them covered the
Child says Dept. proposed a [..] Midwife to be sent
for to Sarah Baston< no role > s assistance, and one came accordingly
and said Baston was put to Bed and proper Care taken
of her says that said James Baston< no role > has been abroad
above a Year to the best of Depts. Recollection says that
she knows that said Sarah Baston< no role > has had a live Child
born of her, of Which she took proper Care.

she discovered some Child Bod Linnen in
Deponents Room, which does not belong to
Dept.

Ann< no role > the Wife of Elias Saville< no role > a Soldier in the
Middlesex Malitia on her Oath Saith that on Monday & Tuesday
last by the Desire of Mrs. Pritchard, she attended said
Sarah Baston< no role > that Mrs Pritchard being obliged to
go out on Monday, returned again on Tuesday about Seven
at Night says said Baston was very ill during Mr
Pritchards absence, and so when she returned, that
Some Short time after said Baston desired to be lifted
off the Bed which was done accordingly, and she cryed
out of Lord, and deponent heard some thing drop to
the Ground from said Baston, but Dept. did not see
what it was, and Dept. is possitive she heard no Child
cry. Upon which Dept. called out for assistance, and
Dept. went away leaving Mrs. Pritchard with said Baston
says that about three weeks before said Baston was
delivered of the Child, she this Dept. taxed her with being
with child, but she positively denied it. Says that there
was Child bed Linnen in Mrs Pritchards Trunk, which
Dept. apprehends night belong to said Baston.

Street MidWife on her Oath Saith that last
Tuesday Dept. was fetched to the Blackmoore's
Head to a Woman there who had been just delivered
of a Male Child. says She gave the Woman Proper
Assistance. says She examined the Child, that it
was come to its full time, and that there were no
Marks of Violence upon it but Dept can form
no Judgment whether it was dead born or not.
