Informations of Witnesses taken this 18th. day of
March 1762. in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields ,
at the Dwelling House of Thomas Bowston< no role > the Sign of
the Plough before me Thomas Prickard< no role > his
Majesty's Coroner for the said City and Liberty,
touching the Death of Henry Danker< no role > then and
there lying Dead, as follow.

William Carter< no role > Servant to Paul Chatain< no role > of Castle
Street Leicester Fields Corn chandler on his Oath
Saith that last Sunday Night upon going into the
Stable to feed his Masters Horse he discovered the
deced hanging by a Rope tyed round a Nail in a
post there, says he went immediately to his Master
and informed him of it says he then went again with
Mr. Michael Smith< no role > to the Stable, but they did not
touch the deced. says he is very sure the deced was
dead when Deponent first discovered him hanging
says he has know the deced about half a year
and appeared to Deponent to be if a Melancholly
Disposition.

Peruke Maker on his Oath Saith that Sunday
Night about Nine o'Clock Mr. Chatain sent
for Deponentwho wasthen at a publick House
desiring him to come immediately, that he went
Uistber and found the Family in great Confusion
on Account of the deceds hanging himself in Mr.
Chatains Stable says he went to the stable with
William Carter< no role > and there found the deced hanging
by a Rope tyed to a Nail in a Post. says he was
dead and appeared to Dept. to be decd some hours
but Dept. did not touch him says he has known
