to wit

An Inquisition Indented and taken at the Parish of St.James in the Liberty of
Westminster within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter at Westminster , the
Twenty seventh day of April in the First year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace
of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth, and in the year of our Lord
One Thousand seven hundred and sixty one Before John Feary< no role > Coroner for our Sovereign Lord the King for the City
and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid, Upon a Veiw of the Body of Emanuel Wright< no role > then and there lying Dead by the
Oaths of John Marechaux< no role > , Joseph Richiardy< no role > , Joseph Gibbons< no role > , James Dawson< no role > , Lewis Morgan< no role > Thomas James< no role >
James How< no role > , Nicholas Gray< no role > Thomas Carpenter< no role > , David Wood< no role > , Henry Baynton< no role > , John Roading< no role > , Richard Iradale< no role >
and George Dunkinson< no role > Good and Lawfull Men of the
said City and Liberty who being Sworn and Charged to Enquire for our Sovereign Lord the King how when where and
in what manner the said Emanuel Wright< no role > came to his Death say upon their Oaths. That on Saturday the
Twenty fifth day of April Instant the said Emanuel Wright< no role > being in Swallow Street in the Parish of Saint
James in the Liberty and County aforesaid, and being looking at the Ruins of the late Five which happened in the
said Street on Friday the twenty fourth day of April Instant , it so happened that a Wall that had been damaged
by the said Five not having a proper Support gave way and fell into the said Street and the said Emanuel Wright
so being in the said Street as aforesaid was accidentally and by Misfortune thrown down and covered under the Ruins
of the said Wall by means whereof the said Emanuel Wright was then and there Suffocated and Smothered by means
whereof he then and there instantly Died, And so the said Jurors aforesaid upon their Oaths aforesaid do say
that the said Emanuel Wright the day and Year aforesaid in the Parish Liberty and County aforesaid accidentally
and said Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors aforesaid have to this Inquisition set their hands and Seals the
day year and at the Place abovementioned.
