to wit

An Inquisition Indented and taken at the Parish of St. James in the
Liberty of Westminster within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter at Westmr.
the thirteenth day of April in the first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God
of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth, and in the year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven hundred and sixty one Before John Feary< no role > Coroner for our Sovereign Lord the King for the City and Liberty of
Westminster aforesaid Upon a Veiw of the Body of Mary Miller< no role > then and there lying Dead by the Oath of Thomas Watson< no role >

Good and Lawfull Men of the
said City and Liberty who being sworn and Charged to Enquire for our Sovereign Lord the King how when where and in
what manner the said Mary Miller< no role > came to her Death say upon their Oaths, That on Sunday the Twelfth day of the
Instant April the said Mary Miller< no role > being in her Lodging Room in the House of Mrs. Hickford Scituate in Great Windmell
Street in the Parish of St. James in the Liberty and County aforesaid, and not being of Sound Mind Memory and
understanding, but Lunatick and Distracted, a certain Razor made of Iron and Steel which she the said Mary Miller< no role >
then and there had and held in her right hand, the Throat or Gullet of her the said Mary Miller< no role > did then and there
strike stab and penetrate thereby then and there giving to herself the said Mary Miller< no role > so being delirious and out of
her Mind as aforesaid with the Razor aforesaid in and upon the Throat or Gullet of her the said Mary Miller< no role > one Mortal
Wound of the length of Two inches, and of the depth of one Inch of which said Mortal Wound she the said Mary
Miller
< no role > then and there instantly Died. And so the said Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said
Mary Miller< no role > the day and Year aforesaid in the Parish Liberty and County aforesaid so being delirious and out of her
Mind as aforesaid in manner and by the means aforesaid did Kill herself. In Witness whereof as with the
said Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors aforesaid have to this Inquisition put their hands and Seals the day Year
and at the place abovementioned
