the said City and Liberty who being Sworn and Charged to Enquire for our Sovereign Lord the King how
when, where, and in what manner the said Katherine Plunkett< no role >
came to her Death, say upon them
Oaths. That on Tuesday the Sixteenth day of September Instant
the said Katherine Plunkett< no role >
being alone
between the hours of three and four in the Afternoon of the some day in her Lodging Loom in the
Dwelling House of Hugh Rorke< no role >
situate in Jacksons Alley in the Parish of Saint Martin in the
fields
in the Liberty and County aforesaid and not being of Sound Mind Memory and Understanding
but Lunatick and Distracted a certain Cord into her hands did take and one part thereof round
her Neck did put and place and the other part thereof round an Iron hook fastned in the Window
frame of the said Room did put round lye and fasten by means of which putting placing tying and
fastning as aforesaid the said Katherine Plunkett herself did hang and strangle by means of
which hanging and strangling as aforesaid the said Katherine Plunkett then and there instantly
Died. And so the said Jurors upon their Oaths aforesaid do say that the said Katherine Plunkett< no role >
the day and Year aforesaid in the Liberty and County aforesaid in manner and form aforesaid by
her Death came and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the Foremen
of the Jurors aforesaid have to this Inquisitions put their hands and Seals the day Year and at the
place aforesaid
