Whitehall

An Inquisition Indented and taken at the House known by
the Name of the Barn in the Mouse within the Verge of His Make's Palace of Whitehall the Twenty eighth
day of July in the thirty Fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace
of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty . Before John Feary< no role > Coroner for His Majesty's Palace
of Whitehall and the Verge of the same Upon a view of the Body of Ann Cox< no role > lying Dead within the said Verge
by the Oaths of George Woodfall< no role > , John Lambert< no role > , William Blunt< no role > , Aaron young< no role > , Leonard Phillips< no role > , Nathaniel

Good and Lawfull Men residing and Dwelling within His
Maties said Palace of Whitehall and the Verge thereof who being Sworn and Charged to Enquire for our Sovereign
Lord the King how when where and in what manner the said Ann Cox< no role > come to her Death say upon their
Oaths. That on Saturday the twenty Sixth day of July Instant the said Ann Cox< no role > being at a House
adjoining to her Dwelling House scituatewithinin the Meuse within the Verge of His Majesty's
Palace of Whitehall from the Visitation of God of a Suffocation occasioned by a sudden Just
of Passion Died a Natural Death, And so the said Jurors upon this Oath, aforesaid do say that
the said Ann Cox< no role > on the Day aforesaid in the year aforesaid within the Verge aforesaid in manner
and form aforesaid by her Death came And not otherwise In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner as the Foreman of the Jurors aforesaid have to this Inquisition set their hands and
Seals the day year and at the place abovesaid
