in September last Convicted of Forgery and had<lb></lb>
Sentence of Death passed upon him for the same And Whereas some favorable Circumstances have been humbly represented<lb></lb>
unto us in his Behalf inducing us to extend our Grace and Mercy unto him and to Grant him our Free Pardon for<lb></lb>
his said Crime Our Will and pleasure therefore is that you Cause him the said <rs type="persName" id="NAHOCR70007_n1945-2">Jeremiah Reading</rs>

Circumstances have been humbly represented unto us in their behalfs inducing us to Extend our Grace and Mercy unto them and<lb></lb>
to Grant them our pardon for the Crimes of which they stand respectively Convicted on Condition of their Severally Enlisting<lb></lb>
and Continuing to Serve us as Soldiers in our Army in different Corps until duly discharged therefrom Our Will and<lb></lb>
pleasure therefore is that upon their Enlisting to Serve us as Soldiers in different Corps in our Army as aforesaid they be<lb></lb>
forthwith delivered over to such person or persons as shall be duly authorized to receive them for that purpose and that they<lb></lb>
be inserted for their said Crimes on the said Condition in our first and next General pardon that shall come out for<lb></lb>
