July 1795. he writes thus concerning Clinch - "this fellow to my certain knowledge was concerned in Committing 12 or 14 Burglaries in the Course of one month in the last Autumn - He is a finished Thief well known as a nuisance about Shoreditch , I committed him be ought to go to Botony Bay.}
