of the Peace of the Parish of St. George in
the Hanover of Square
within the said Liberty to receive and convey.
and to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Paddington
in the County of Middx
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS John Turpin< no role >
Singleman , was
apprehended in the Parish of St. George hanr. Square
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (videlicet) there found wandring
and lodging in the Open Air
and upon Examination of the said John Turpin< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the place of
the last legal Settlement of the said John
Turpin is< no role > in the parish of Paddington
in the County of Middlesex

These are therefore to require you the said Constable and other Officer
to Convey the said John Turpin< no role >
in the next direct Way to the said Parish
of Paddington and there to deliver him to some Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same
to be provided for according to Law. And you the said
Church-Warden , Chapel-Warden, and Overseer of the Poor, are hereby
required to receive the said John Turpin< no role >
and provide for him as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this
5th. Day of August in the Year of our Lord 17 67.
