We the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin in
the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Do hereby
Certify That Henville Anderson< no role > a Taylor Journeyman to his Uncle Mr. Jeffery
Henville
< no role > a Taylor at the Golden Ball near Southampton Street in the Strand in the
said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields hath given sufficient Security to Indemenify
our said Parish on Account of the Laying and Lying in of Elizabeth Groves< no role > Singlewoman
and the Maintenance of the Bastard Child or Children which she the said Elizabeth
Groves
< no role > on the Seventh Day of July last past went with and was pregnant of And do
Consent and Desire that he may be discharged from the Recognizance in which he
stands bound to Answer the Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of our said Parish for begetting the said Elizabeth Groves< no role > with Child as she made
