Westminster To wit.

To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman, and other Officer
of the Peace of the Parish of Sr. Margaret in the
Westminster of in the County of Middlesex

within the saidto receive and covney
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct of Meat
in the County of Wilts
or either of them to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Elizabeth Wilton (Wife of Joseph th [..]
a Soldier at Flanders ) was

apprehended in the said Parish of Sr Margaret Westmr.
as aRogue andVagabond, (videlicet) Wandering & begging

and upon Examination of the said Elizabeth Wilton< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the Last Legal
Settlement of the said Joseph Wilton< no role > & Elizabeth< no role > his Wife
& their two Children (Vizt Elizabeth< no role > aged upwards of
Three Years & Joseph< no role > Aged upwards of One Years) is in
the said Parish of Mear in the County of Wilts

These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the said Elizabeth Wilton< no role > & her said two Children

to the Town of Colnbrook inofthe County of Bucks that being the first
Town in the next Precinct thro' which they ought to pass in the
direct Way tot he said Parish of Mear in Wilts to which
they are to be sent and to deliver them to the Constable or
other Officer of such Town in such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said Vagrant
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Vagrants
to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to
the said Parish of Mear there to be delivered to some Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you he said Church-
Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person s and provide for them as aforesaid. Given un-
der my Hand and Seal this Thirtieth Day of August
in the Year of our Lord 174 5.
