Defecerit in Conditione Sequent.</p>
<p n="102">THE Condition of this Recognizance is such, That whereas the above-<lb></lb>

is licensed to keep a Common Ale-<lb></lb>
house and Victualling-houe until the 14th. day of February next ensuing the<lb></lb>
Date hereof, and no longer, in the House wherein he now dwelleth, at<lb></lb>
the Parish of <rs type="placeName" id="LMWJPS65331_geo70">St. Martins in the Liberty</rs>

aforesaid,<lb></lb>
and not elsewhere in the said Liberty: If therefore the said <rs type="persName" id="LMWJPS65331_n102-2">Simon Wallis</rs>

shall at all times hereafter, during the continuance of his Li-<lb></lb>
cence, keep and maintain good Order and Rule within his House, and shall keep<lb></lb>
one of more sufficient Bed or Lodging for Wayfaring Men or Passengers, and<lb></lb>
shall not permit, or suffer any Inhabitant or other Person to remain or continue<lb></lb>
drinking or tipling in his said House, contrary to Law; nor suffer any Person<lb></lb>
to sell or utter any Beer, Ale or Victual, by deputation or colour of his said<lb></lb>
Licence: Nor harbour any Rogues, Vagabonds, Masterless Men, or other noto-<lb></lb>
rious Offenders, in his said House, or in any Cut-house, or other place thereunto<lb></lb>
belonging: Nor lodge or suffer any Person to stay or abide in his said House<lb></lb>
above one day and one night, but shall thereof the next day following deliver<lb></lb>
the true Name and Sirname of such Persons to one of the Constable or Head-<lb></lb>
<rs type="occupation" id="LMWJPS65331_occ85">boroughs</rs>

of the Parish aforesaid, unless such as he well knoweth, and will an-<lb></lb>
swer for his, her or their forth-coming. Nor shall buy or take to pawn any<lb></lb>
Goods of wayfaring Men, or other suspected Persons: Nor suffer any unlawful<lb></lb>
Game or Games to be used in his said House: Then this Recognisance shall be void<lb></lb>
and of none effect, or else shall stand, remain and be in full force and virtue.</p>
