Common Council dated 22d. day of March last received
from the Town Clock appointing Mr. John Haydon< no role >
one of the Common Council of the Ward of Portsoken
a Governor of this Hospital in the Room of Mr
William Roberts< no role > deceased

Subscriptions were recommended by the Treasurer
towards defraying the great Expences of this Hospital

The Treasurer their acquainted the Court that
the immediate Occasion of calling the same was to chose
a Physician in the Room of Dr. George Fordyce< no role >
deceased

Dr. .Thomas Turner< no role >
chosen Physician in
the room of Dr. Fordyce.

Whereupon the Court proceeded to the Choice of
Physician in the Room of Dr. Fordyce and the
Petition of Dr. Thomas Turner< no role > was read praying to be
elected who being the only Candidate was unanimously
chosen Physician to this Hospital during the Pleasure
of this Court and he was called in and acquainted
which his Election
