<p n="2975">Committee or any one of the Commoners thereof<lb></lb>
should be desired to attend every Court of Aldermen<lb></lb>
to approve or seal such Leases or other Agreements<lb></lb>
to which the said seal had. been thentofore<lb></lb>
usually affixed And that the said Committee or<lb></lb>
any one of the said Commoners so attending should<lb></lb>
be considered as the legal Representative of the<lb></lb>
Court of Common Council as Governors of the<lb></lb>
aforesaid Royal Hospitals To the end that<lb></lb>
their act and deed in the said sealing and<lb></lb>
approving such leases and agreements as<lb></lb>
aforesaid should be to all intents and purposes<lb></lb>
as binding as though it was done by and in the<lb></lb>
presence of the Court of Common Council And<lb></lb>
that the said seal should be never used or<lb></lb>
affixed to any instrument whatsoever but in<lb></lb>
the presence and with the approbation of the<lb></lb>
said Committee or some or one member thereof<lb></lb>
being a Commoner And that at a Court of the<lb></lb>
Lord Mayor and Aldermen holden upon the<lb></lb>
17th.. day of March aforesaid It was resolved<lb></lb>
that in future all business appertaining to the<lb></lb>
City and Hospital seals should be transacted<lb></lb>
in the Court of Lord Mayor Aldermen and<lb></lb>
Commons in Common Council assembled</p>
