12. Item That if any Surgeon have any Considerable Extraordi-<lb></lb>
nary Operation to Perform, He shall give Notice of the time of his<lb></lb>
doing the same to the other Surgeons, that they may be present.</p>

13. Item That the Ministers or Hospitaler do frequently and<lb></lb>
carefully Visit the Sick and Lame Poor in this House for their<lb></lb>

14 Item That the Patients do constantly attend the Worship of<lb></lb>
God in the Chapel on Sabbath and other days on pain of forfeit-<lb></lb>

excuse, And upon after Offending to be punished at discretion of<lb></lb>
the Treasurer or Steward And at the time of Ringing the Bell<lb></lb>
to call to Worship in the Chapel, the Steward do take care that<lb></lb>
the Men Patients, And the Matron the Women Patients, do<lb></lb>
duly attend the same, And at all other times the Door of the<lb></lb>
Chapel shall be Lock'd.</p>

16. Item That the Patients shall not Swear or take Gods Name<lb></lb>
in Vain, nor Revile or Miscall one another, nor strike or beat<lb></lb>
one another, nor steal Meat or Drink Apparel or other thing<lb></lb>
one from the other, nor abuse themselves by inordinate Drink-<lb></lb>
ing nor Incontinent Living, nor talk, nor act Immodestly upon<lb></lb>
pain of Expulsion, And that when they go to or return from their<lb></lb>
Meals and Beds they crave Gods Blessing, and return thanks<lb></lb>
to God. And that a proper Person be appointed to Read at the<lb></lb>
Desk on Sunday, and on Friday Morning to Read in every Ward<lb></lb>
the Rules and Orders to be observed by the Patients</p>
