Upon consideration had of the report of the Grand Comittee of<lb></lb>
Governours of this Hospitall that severall tennts: of lands & Tenemts:<lb></lb>
belonging thereunto have (contrary to the Covents & Condicons<lb></lb>
conteined in the respective deeds and Indrs: of Lease thereof presum'd<lb></lb>
to make undr: leases Grants and Assignemts: of the same without<lb></lb>
notice first given of such their doeings to the <rs type="occupation" id="LMTHMG55301_occ340">Clerk of this House</rs>

for the time being (whom they ought to have imployed to pen the<lb></lb>
same respectively) by which meanes of ten times the Fines due to<lb></lb>
the House upon Alienacons have been wrongfully deteined great<lb></lb>
Encroachmts: upon the lands and possions of this Hospitall; and<lb></lb>
purchasors of Estates and Interests in lands and Tenemts: belonging<lb></lb>
to the same by such Clandestine Grants, under leas & Assignement<lb></lb>
as aforesaid, have been frequently defranded</p>

Ordered that it be referred to the perticuler care of the<lb></lb>

to make discovery of all such Audr: leases<lb></lb>
Grants and Assignements of any lands and Tenemts: belonging to<lb></lb>
this Hospitall as contrary to any of the Covents or Condicons<lb></lb>
Conteined in the respective Indrs: of lease and Deeds by which the<lb></lb>
same are respectively holden have heretofore beene or shall herea-<lb></lb>
fter be made, without notice first given to the said Clerke and his<lb></lb>
being imployed to pen the same, who is also hereby impowred, from<lb></lb>
time to time to take such course at Law or in Equity for the procuring<lb></lb>
satisfaccon to the house in the premisses and for the prventing the<lb></lb>
like inconveniences for the time to come as he in his discretion<lb></lb>
shall think fitt, and further the said Clerk is required to deliver<lb></lb>
a printed Coppy of this Order to each tennant of any lands or<lb></lb>
Tenemts: belonging to this Hospitall to the end that none of them<lb></lb>
may hereafter plead ignorance or in advertance in Excuse of such<lb></lb>
their injurious practices as aforesaid but all of them may Governe<lb></lb>
themselves in the premisses according to their respective obligacons<lb></lb>
to the house for the future at their utmost perills.</p>
