Nurses of the clean
Wards


That four Guineas each be allowed at or before Christmas
next to such three of the Sisters and to such three of the Nurses
of the clean Wards of this Hospital as shall in the judgement of
the Physicians and Surgeons the Apothecary Steward and Matron
appear to have conducted themselves in their respective Offices most
to their satisfaction

Bill for a Navigable
Canal from Braunston
to Brentford strated to
have pass'd both houses

from within a limited

Mr Way one of the Committee for the conduct of the
application to Parliament for the intended Navigable Canal from
Braunston to Brentford acquainted the Committee that the Bill
had passed both Houses and lay for the Royal Assent and
that under such Bill every Proprietor of Land through which
the Canal is intended to pass will be entitled to one share for
[..] furlong not exceeding 10 shares in the whole to each
Proprietor And that it will pass through the Hospital Estates
in the Counties of Bucks Herts and Middlesex and that the
Hospital will be entitled to six shares provided the Hospital
signify its determination to accept the same within a Comited
time

Resolved

Such shares to be
accepted and the
Treasurer to pay the
Installments


That the Committee is of Opinion that it will be for
the benefit of the Hospital to accept of such Shares and the
Treasurer is desired to pay the installments for the same
according to the terms of the Act

£2000 Old SS. Ann-
uites by the Treasr
on his Security


Mr. Way acquainted the Committee that the Treasurer
had at his own request invested a Sum of £2000 Old South
Sea Annuities of his own property in the names of Mr. Way
Benjamin Harrison< no role > Esquire and the Treasurer as his Security
during his continuance in the Office
